Never Pray To The Gods Who Answer After Dark
The City is cold. The City is cruel. When one looks up into the night sky, all that remains are neon stars. Has anyone here truly seen a star? Is the scent of blood drifting through the breeze? Will you still recognise yourself? Do you remember the voice that granted you salvation? Do you remember the sacrificed lives and dreams? Do you remember what you stand for?
There are legends of beasts that roam the streets, hidden out of sight and only seen by few. Husks, they call them. Some have bore witness to their incredible strength and sadistic carnage. Anyone would want that power. Many hunt for that power. Syndicates deep within the Warrens are in an arms race for these creatures and those who can wield their might. Rumour has it the Volary has similar plans. The quest for power beyond understanding steals lives, homes, and hopes.
The City of Kuryo is a dark modern fantasy story taking inspiration from works such as Project Moon and Madoka Magica Faust. It's simply a passion project that gets worked on whenever I feel like it. Don't be expecting anything like novels or comics or even frequent updates.

Decided to add an update log thing, had to obliterate ishmael going to dunkin donuts for this but thats alright.
Also finally added Drige's backstory we making that shit look like a wikipedia page. Well it's not done yet bc I dont feel like writing anymore

Hmm. I’m in my Joker arc right now, and there are a lot of rich people here as if they are in a society or something. I do- I know I like making pranks and everything, but uh… rich people, I can’t tolerate. Let’s just say uh.. society treated me in a very bad way. That’s why I lash out with my funny pranks. Now, I ran out of uh pianos, so I’m gonna have to improvise here. Let’s see.. hm.. I could go for the usual cream pie, but I feel like those big, glass windows right in front of you might stop that. Man.. Coming up with good material on the spot is not easy. Man, if only that other person was here. The one with the- that got struck with the comically large anvil. I bet he’d give me some inspiration right about now. Yknow what, let me tell you a story while I’m here. My father- oh what the fuck?
